Mike and his team are amazing!  They’ve done work in my home and I could not be happier with the result.  This work includes custom closets, kitchen remodel, complete back yard hard scape and outdoor kitchen design and build!  I highly recommend Mike and his team and I’ll definitely continue to use them in the future.

Kings was working in our house for about 3 months making an ugly basement look like a new home. It is hard to quantify how pleased I am with their work.



Looking at pictures of the final project it is easy to see the craftmanship and attention to detail, but it's also the attention to detail of the infrastructure that allows that to happen. We had a few challenging areas with our project. They had to install a bathroom where there was no plumbing. They had to clean up tons of old cables and install mechanical and electrical. We had basement poles that could not be moved but had to look like they belong. These are the things that I watched from the beginning and was so impressed how they engineered their work. Their rough in alone would put most finish carpenters to shame.

Our stairs and underneath the stairs were a challenge that they did a fantastic job with. We had a vision to make under the stairs a useable space and it ended up exceeding our expectations. We now have a serving area/dry bar that we were wanting.

We also had a problem with the bottom of the stairs. The bottom of the stairs are very close to the wall. This can make bringing things downstairs very difficult. I wanted to allow for plenty of room to get furniture and such in the basement with minimal problems with the walls. If you have ever taken anything heavy to a basement or into a small room you know what I mean. It can be very demanding and stressful. The guys came up with the open stairs at the bottom and checked with the city of Lee's Summit to make sure it complied with code.  Beautiful and functional!

They paid attention to the little things. We were not originally going to replace one of our old basement windows. We were looking at it and it was ugly after they had sheet rocked the walls. When I approached Mike and Jimmy about a change to replace the window they were already ahead of me and had planned to do so. This is the type of thing that makes a homeowner appreciate their work. They anticipated and corrected things, always trying to make the project just that much better.

The greatest compliment I can give them is that they quality control their work. They were fixing things before I could even notice there was a problem. Our final punch list of items that needed to be corrected was basically non existent. There was nothing really to point out at the end.

Finally, the whole team are just nice friendly people.

Everyone of the crew that worked here showed great pride in what they were doing and were very respectful of us living in the house while they worked. That is what made the whole experience so good. I consider them all friends now and we look forward to having them back to remodel our kitchen next!

We had 2 (what we consider) pretty big projects done by King's.  They completed an addition for us a little over a year ago then just completed a kitchen remodel which also included adding new flooring, trim and lighting throughout the main part of our home.  Mike was always accessible via phone or email for questions or concerns.   The guys that did the work showed up on time, were friendly and always willing to answer questions as well.  The work was done the right way even if it wasn't exactly written that way in the contract or necessarily the cheapest way for them to get it done.  King's didn't constantly ask for more money, but did give us some additional options to add on during the project-- none of which were required to get the original work done.  Both projects were done on time with the exception of a couple small supply issues in 2021.  By the time they did our kitchen remodel, they had already figured out how to mediate supply issues so that it didn't hold up our project.  I don't think any remodel comes without little bumps, but King's made the process so much easier and overall, we are super happy with the end result!

I had Kings Remodeling out for an estimate on some work I needed done with a leaky tub. They spent time diagnosing the problem and came up with a plan and estimate for repairs. During diagnostics of another problem, a simple fix was found. After spending at least 1/2 finding  & fixing the Jacuzzi, I was not charged! Who can beat FREE?

From the time the Kings Remodel crew entered our home, to the end of the remodel...the experience was exciting, professional and rewarding! The final result was everything we anticipated and more. We highly recommend Kings Remodel to anyone needing a fair priced, experienced renovation!!  :O)
